Engage is a mandatory program for grade 6 to 8 students who wish to volunteer at Southview. It is designed to help them engage more intentionally in the Core Practice of SERVE. Through Engage, we’ll discover how God has designed us to serve, and how awesome it is to serve God together.
Our three tracks are:
Technical Arts - Grade 6 have the opportunity to serve on Saturday evenings from 6:15pm to 7:30pm running teach for grade school worship in the Legacy Centre. Grade 7 & 8 students have the opportunity to servive on Tuesday nights at Jr High from 6:30pm to the end of the evening in the Legacy Centre.
Hospitality Track - Serve at designated times through the weekend services, once a month in our welcome centre/as a greeter/cardo cafe.
Southview Kids - Serve at one service once or twice a month during our weekend services assisting in the classrooms (Grade 6 only in preschool).
To join this group, you must register for our first Kick Off event. The cost of this event is for the whole ministry year (Sept to June) and all events within the ministry year.
